The final day: Only a few hours after returning to the hotel after finals, the journey home began. Vans left for Dayton International Airport at 4:30am, and we all crossed our fingers for a smoother travel day than the epic trip out to Ohio.
The BCDL has certainly become experts at group travel in a very short time. Even those who were flying for the first time ever could now probably navigate some of the trickiest travel scenarios that might come their way. Luckily there were no snags at all on the way home, and there was plenty of time to reflect on the week, think about next year, and maybe most importantly...sleep!
Hard to imagine...that this all came from an idea...an idea that grew.
